Your annual refresher on speaking with Minnesotans:

"yeah no" - no
"no yeah" - yes
"yeah yeah" - no
"no no" - yes, but after you
"for sure" - enthusiastic yes
"oh sure!!" - reluctant yes
"I guess, yeah" - you bastard
"now hang on a second there" - prepare to be murdered

People need to understand that the disability community has always been angry but since the pandemic (which still exists BTW) and the way that the entire world abandoned us to die because a few things were inconvenient for them our rage is unparalleled. We are all still trapped in our houses.

Remember friends, unpopular opinions are for things like pizza toppings and movie preferences. They are not for entire demographics of people.
Pro-tip: Don't say "unpopular" when you mean bigoted.

Bluesky’s goal is to turn social media into a shared public commons. We don’t want to own people’s social graphs or communities. We want to be a tool that helps communities own and govern themselves.

Going to be the opposite of Twitter and view every thought on Bluesky in the best possible light. If someone says “I like pancakes”, I will think “this person potentially also likes waffles, which are also delicious”

Yes bitch, that is a supportive viewpoint, that’s what we are all talkin bout

Yup. He didn’t make a mistake. He & his investors destroyed what had become a democratic good. On purpose and for ideological reasons. It’s a shame he was able to do it.
Elon didn’t waste his or his awful autocratic investors money—he spent it destroying 1) democracy & journalism, 2) trust in information & government & 3) the ability for ordinary folks to organize.

For this impact, $44b is wildly cheap!
Elon didn’t just waste 44B buying Twitter. The place is maybe worth 14B now. He destroyed 30B in wealth. Gone like smoke. That’s 30B he could’ve spent to blunt the most catastrophic effects of climate change. 30B that won’t help refugees. He could’ve done so much good & instead chose so much stupid.

“We must dedicate the anniversary of the Dobbs decision as a time to mourn everyone whose lives were taken because the government stripped them of their right to abortion access.”

My latest.

The loss of abortion access demands a day of collective mourning
A year into the reversal of the federal protection to abortion access, it is clear that abortion bans kill.
