Here in the midlands of South Carolina, today is the equinox - the sun rose at 7:33 am and will set at 7:33 pm. So happy equinox to all, whenever yours happens to be.

Yay telephoto lens! I got some excellent shots of "our" mated pair of red-tailed hawks. They love hanging out in one of the tall trees behind our house.

Meanwhile, over in the Metaverse, people are finding that they now follow various members & accounts in the new administration, w/o their knowledge or consent. Cheeky, to say the least, to assume that if I followed the last president that I want to follow this one. Or his VP, or his wife, etc, etc.

School starts tomorrow! This term I'm taking collage and mixed media (U of SC). You're saying What? An old person taking college classes? Why yes, in SC if you are over 60 you can take classes at any state school for no tuition. This is my 6th academic year.

I was hoping for a lovely veggie dish as part of my dinner tonight, and in fact the veggies are quite nice. But sadly, the promised packet of roasted garlic sauce, to be set aside then drizzled on at the end, was missing. So I had to improvise. @eathaks
