The River Cherwell feeds into the River Thames. The River Thames fills up Farmoor reservoir. Farmoor reservoir supplies water to approx 600,000 people. Including my house.

As well as letting it kill our wildlife, we are drinking this stuff.
🚨 SHOCKING 🚨

A HUGE illegal waste dump has appeared between the A34 and River Cherwell, linked to organised crime.

Every rainfall risks toxins washing into the river.

We’re calling on the Environment Agency & Cherwell Council to act NOW.

Our rivers cannot wait. 👇👇

🪸 New study reports VERY high densities of marine debris on
the deep seafloor of the Jordanian Gulf of Aqaba, northern Red Sea: 4,975 - 79,840 items per km2 (mean = 27,267 items/km2)!
48% were #plastics and highest densities were observed near a public beach 🏖️.

50 years ago, today, a whale exploded on an Oregon beach. 20 years later, before social media or video sharing sights or smartphones, it would become the first viral Internet video.

We sent it to each other in the mail.

A total of 36,2 million tons of cargo was shipped on the Northern Sea Route in 2025. A major part of it was carried by 'shadow fleet' ships unsuitable for sailing in the Arctic
'Shadow ships' take pole position on Northern Sea Route
And the Russian sea route administration that previously provided updated public information about Arctic ship traffic no longer delivers reliable data.

Russia has passed the US in terms of GHG emissions per person.

No peak in Chinese emissions, & not expected even if CO2 emissions peak.
