God if this doesn’t hit hard. As a kid, when I felt something was wrong, I would ask something like “why don’t we just stop doing this?” As a teenager, I learned there’s all these complexities and nuances. As an adult, I realized “wait, we all know it’s fake then? why don’t we just stop doing this?”

Got tricked into going to a SUTR meeting & was fobbed off when asking "can't we just respond to Nazis as a neighbourhood?" Wouldn't be such a huge deal if they weren't using fash leafletting our burg as an opportunity to promote themselves. No solutions, no support, just LOOK AT US! WE'RE SO GREAT!
