the good thing about liking a bunch of dead artists is I never have to worry about what they said on socials while I was asleep

A number of artists and creators have made their home on Bluesky, and we hear their concerns with other platforms training on their data. We do not use any of your content to train generative AI, and have no intention of doing so.

Authors and artists depend on word of mouth. If you've read a good book, tell your friends about it. If you've admired some art, tell your friends where they can see it. Share your enthusiasm and help us keep producing more for you to enjoy.

I swear I just saw someone on my skyline claim they know someone who 'can't' write fiction without ChatGPT and bud I myself cannot get over a highjump bar without the use of a jetpack

So guess what

I'm not attempting to make a career as a highjumper
Everyone making me see their weak defenses for AI writing when my wife is both a fiction writer and a copywriter so all of their examples are still mostly “puts someone in my house out of work for a subpar replacement”

This is the whole point of AI. It’s not to actually replace humans. It’s to change your title from “head writer” to “assistant AI technician,” not credit you, and pay you half of what you were paid before

Oh definitely stealing this
I recently learned that in Norway, when someone asks "how's it going", the standard answer is "up and not crying" and we should adopt this asap
