not so fun fact: there are virtually no bodies on the summits of 8kers. To a person almost every death has been on the way up or down. Usually down. In part because the summit of an 8k peak is one of the least comfortable places on Earth, the whole point of getting there is to fuckoff asap
if your gonna die on Everest. Die right on the top. That way everyone else has to see you when they get there.
if you can’t get to sleep, just count bodies on Everest until you drift into a peaceful slumber

On the subject of 9 year player contracts, what is the incentive for the very best players to sign them? They will have huge earning potential and as we’ve seen elsewhere run down contracts to get best deal for themselves. Tying to a decade seems counterintuitive. He must really love Man City. 🥸
