Worth highlighting as folks occasionally repost "data science" factoids by "Cremieux", unaware that he's also trying to mainstream racist & eugenics views (as Lasker in real life) based on a laughably poor understanding of genetics

What an incredible time at the 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 conference. I made new scientific connections with peers who share my passion for translational research. Although we got caught in a sudden downpour on our way to the group photo, we turned it into a memorable time, smiling all the way.

Interesting story!

We must take advantage of the chaos that President Donald Trump has unleashed at several American universities with extensive cuts, and do much more to attract young researchers from the United States to Denmark.

The CDC has literally been gutted today.

There’s no need for “April Fools” when reality is a nightmare for every human on this planet.

Thousand of scientists fired.
Entire departments erased.

It’s hard to think of worse picks.

Bhattacharya is literally every bit as dangerous as Kennedy. Don’t let Stanford pedigree fool you. He’s a conspiracy promoting COVID infection advocate who is allied with basically every major right-wing group wading into the public health space.

And so it begins — NIH is planning to terminate active grants that no longer meet the agency's "priorities".

Grants that were already approved for funding through peer review.

The pursuit of knowledge should be apolitical, inclusive, and forward-thinking.

Five weeks into what has been a constant onslaught on science, working on a paper seems like such a privilege, which many of our recently fired colleagues no longer have.

And a rebellious act.

But mostly it's self-care.
