I have to wonder how much those fpv drone nose are bothering the Olympic athletes... Maybe it's not actually very much considering the athletes are busy and focused on other things... And it might be noisy to them as they ski down a mountain, etc. anyway 🤷🏾‍♂️🤔

Well holy fucking shit. Ring cancelled their partnership with Flock. Keep pressure on them to stop volunteering their feeds to state, local, and federal agencies, though, because that part's still going.

It’s amazing that MAGA people actually think this admin spends 5 minutes giving a fuck about any of them because they are fed a steady diet of culture war bullshit by Trump, Fox and paid influencers to keep them blissfully ignorant of what is really happening.

In other words, long enough that habeas petitions can be filed on their behalf in Minnesota before they're whisked off to an immigration detention facility somewhere in the Fifth Circuit (where, under that court's current law, they wouldn't be eligible for a bond hearing).
Incredibly powerful opinion chronicling the awfulness in Whipple and the ways it interfered with the right to counsel.

One key part of the ruling (that ICE will likely appeal ASAP); Judge Brasel bars ICE from transferring anyone out of Minnesota within 72 hours of arrest.

The Trump administration said it is ending its deployment of immigration agents to Minnesota. They’re framing it as Minnesota agreeing to cooperate, but most of their statements are false. It’s Minnesotans standing firm and refusing to back down. The resistance only grows. Minnesota strong 💪

In a normal government, this results in the resignation of multiple cabinet officials (Transportation, Defense, and Homeland Security), and the closure or (at least!) radical reorg of the cartoonishly incompetent agency at the center of it: CBP.

These dudes think this is so clever.

Beyond the difference in harms that accompanies the age limits for booze and voting, there were 26,000+ arrests of minors for liquor law violations in 2019. It’s a relatively common crime.

There are functionally no arrests each year for in-person voter fraud.
Rep. Brian Steil: "I flew home to my home state of Wisconsin, went to buy a 6 pack a beer, the clerk asked for my ID, confirmed it, and then I was allowed to buy the beer. I just think it's nuts that we protect our beer more than our ballots."

Switzerland does not have a Prime Minister. He’s probably confusing it with the time he spoke with the President of Puerto Rico.
Trump: "So I put on a 30% tariff, which is very low. I got an emergency call from I believe the prime minister of Switzerland. She was very aggressive ... I didn't really like the way she talked to us, so instead of giving her a reduction, I raised it to 39%."
