Marching band season is winding down; we're only doing playoff games on Friday nights now, so still at it, but not as intensely. My job has been restructuring, and that's been stressful with no end in sight.

This time last year, I was 4 weeks into my newfound photography hobby and had already developed a "portfolio" of best/favorite pics to that point. I showed it to anyone who would listen. This year, nothing like that exists. I'm "meh" about everything I've shot, even though I've now won an award.

Things are starting to not be happy on my 15 Ford Focus. It's not even got 100k on it. But current cars are unaffordable & expensive to fix with computer module this and that. Current repair is looking at $1250.... which I dont have. Decisions.

Newest Covid Vax in me! We hadn't had a covid booster since January 2024. It was more than time. We opted to hold off on the flu shot a month or so. I didn't want to do them at the same time.
