“Insufficient funds” charges are one of the most vile things banks do. “No money? Pay us 31 bucks, instead of us just rejecting the 8.99 charge, which we’re fully capable of doing, but no. Give us money, even though the whole reason for this fee existing is that you don’t have any money.” So fucked.

Why are so many of the synonyms for laughter negatively connotated? Like, laughter is one of the most beautiful human things and is a literal embodiment of our joy expressed, but, like, over half the synonyms describe when it's negatively being used. I just feel like that ratio should be flipped.
