I’ve said for years that the Dems never wanted to take this arrow out of the quiver because once it’s fired it’s no longer an incentive to vote blue and now his ratings are in the shitter he’s looking to do anything to bring em up and he doesn’t give a shit about the “moral Right” wing of his party.

President Trump is preparing to order his administration to dramatically loosen restrictions on MARIJUANA.

The order would reclassify cannabis from Schedule I — the same level as heroin — to Schedule III — the same level as Tylenol and codeine and some steroids.
Trump seeks to cut restrictions on marijuana through planned order
The president is expected to attempt to classify marijuana similar to some common prescription painkillers and other drugs.

Donald Trump feels a deep kinship with and respect for anyone who runs any kind of scam or film-flam. Mystery solved
NEW: Trump's mysterious commutation of David Gentile has upset & confused his victims.

Several of the businesses in which their life savings were invested had Scientology links.

Gentile is a Scientologist himself, but the church says it had nothing to do with the commutation.

Jasmine Crockett’s Senate bid is infuriating some colleagues.

“She might win a primary, but she ain't winning a general in Texas," said a senior House Dem.

Another House Dem told @axios.com: “Just look to see how many House members endorse her candidacy.” www.axios.com/2025/12/12/j...

Can the democrats go one day without proposing the most idiotic idea possible? It's like they want Trump to take full control over the internet.

again, ignition interlocks are one of those things where there basically *really is* a technological solution to the problem that greatly mitigates that tradeoffs, and it's a policy failure that they aren't mandatory for five years after your first DUI.
“Drunk and drugged driving is now so common in car-centric California that drivers routinely rack up four, five, six DUIs. One woman in Fresno just got her 16th.”
California has some of the weakest DUI laws in the nation. Here, DUI-related deaths have been rising more than twice as fast as the rest of the country.

But this fall, a state bill to strengthen DUI penalties was gutted at the last minute. calmatters.org/investigatio...

With luck those delivery robots won't be permitted in Oxford, where the council generally seems to take a dim view on things that can block pavements etc. I imagine the local students would immediately try to ride them, which would provide some entertainment, but overall not worth it.

Thinking of that time when my dad, himself a doctor, was thrown by a horse on a trail ride. Punctured his spleen, internal bleeding, got him to an ER just in time. He lived another 20 years. With two hours delay, probably wouldn't have.

We rushed to *nearest* ER. Not comparison-shop for ER prices.
Roger Marshall: "We want patients to become consumers again. We want patients to see what the actual prices are. We believe that if we would add the price tags to this bill, that it would save the country a trillion dollars a year."
