Outraged and heartbroken by the news of two young people killed last night in DC in a targeted act of antisemitic violence. This is the opposite of advancing justice and peace - it only furthers the violence, pain, and loss - and such hatred must be firmly rejected by all.

I was an Obama appointee to the Holocaust Museum board and served during the first Trump term. The primary mission of the museum is to advance knowledge of the Holocaust and preserve the memory of its victims. Removing Biden appointees is petty and vindictive and distracts from this important work.

Andry Romero, a gay makeup artist came to the US last year in search of asylum. He did not show up for his scheduled court date - ICE had seized him & took him to brutal prison in El Salvador. His family is desperately worried. Senator request to see him was denied. Proof of life denied.
