Lawyer, activist, former marijuana regulator, AI skeptic. Regulation is actually very punk rock
This is our community's letter!! It was written by Josie Morway, a local artist and parent. After we started asking questions, the district slowed way down and starting holding forums, creating workgroups, and taking student privacy more seriously. Talk to us if you want to do the same!
Love to see community action against this AI nonsense! neighborhoodview.org/2025/11/13/d...

COVID vaccines are now available to everyone, no prescription needed, and insurance will cover them. IMO between now and Nov 1 is the best time of year to get one.

Big Tech's A.I. data centers are turning into a political flashpoint in VA & NJ.

Voters are pushing back as Amazon, Google, and Meta server farms drive up power costs and eat up local grids — a “sleeper issue” that's exploding in gubernatorial elections.
The sleeper issue that could play a huge role in Virginia and New Jersey — and the midterms
Data centers are spreading across the country and contributing to rising electricity bills. It’s becoming a political issue as lawmakers are still workshopping their response.

For the record, if you pick 1 cause - just 1 - and fight for it, I think that’s cool as hell. No part of me is gonna go “wow, you picked y vs x? Clearly you don’t give a shit about x.” That’s not how human energy works. You can care about many things, but you can’t throw yourself at all of them.

This is a bill to concentrate both political and market power in Massachusetts cannabis and pave the way for it to become a billionaire-controlled industry. It doesn't happen because it's inevitable, it happens slowly and over time because of intentional policy choices like this bill.
