True story. Before ACA when I decided to become an independent consultant I had to be examined by a nurse in my home for health insurance. Because I had a pre-existing condition she told me I would be denied, unless I gave her $200. I had to pay the nurse a bribe to get health insurance.

The big problem with the EU is that once the prequels happened it all became quasi-cannon because george lucas didn't want to be beholden to a bunch of stuff he had basically no involvement with. Which is fair imo but people act like disney killed the EU when ut was already basicalky dead.
