Image (Art): This is a traditional sketch that I drew, and then scanned in (cleaned up a bit) and added colour to digitally. It features Toon Zelda and Toon Link from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, with the two of them trying to work out where to go next, although Link seems more confused and is pointing at a map whilst looking back around at Zelda, whilst she seems to be trying to work out the problem. As for the map he's holding if you can work it out...well more power to you! Since I just made it random! The background features my (failed,lol) attempt at attempting to replicate the simple version of the map based on an official piece of art, with a few important items scattered around the border, such as a letter, royal engineer's certificate, star fragment, tear of light, a piece of heart, hearts, rupees, the compass of light, force gems, the stamp book, some stamps, and a key. I actually wanted to add Link's sword and shield, but...I didn't want to have to redo parts of the background...and Zelda's just a little bit too close...but I'll add them on the digital version I do at some point. || Artist: yesbutterfly. Image: (Art) This is a traditional sketch that I drew, and then scanned in (cleaned up a bit) and added colour to digitally. It features Fi from Skyward Sword, sitting on top of the Master Sword pedestal holding out her arm with a Chirri (bird) perched on her hand. There's also a second Chirri on the ground as well. With a couple of Blessed Butterflies in the background too. I also drew some bushes behind the pedestal off to the side and various plant growth starting to grow from below the stone ground. I also attempted to draw a frame that would be a stained glass window, but because I'm a bit dumb, I actually drew her a bit too far down, and then couldn't actually put the frame in properly anyway, so that's probably going to be moved or omitted in the digital version. I also included a few gears at the top of the frame that are supposed to reference the gate of time. I was also going with the idea of this maybe being like an illustration in a book with text off to the side, which is why I decided to try to go with a frame like this. || Artist: yesbutterfly. Five years ago, I started a project that was everything you aren't supposed to do.

A big, hours-long single player action game with cutscenes and side quests galore.

After release last year, I've more than doubled the size of the game, and I'm not done yet.

Finished Prime 4 today. Took me about 12 hours. And I had SO many thoughts on it, I had to write over 5000 words on it.

Metroid is very, very important to me, and I was so sadly disappointed in Prime 4. I think I'll be sad for ages.

I guess it comes for us all eventually.
The "FPS map design" meme, showing a complex multi-looping Doom (1993) map layout vs a "2010" game's which is represented by a singular corridor with 4 right-angle turns, and 5 cutscene indicators. Except the FPS is crossed out and it now says "METROID PRIME" And the years are crossed out so instead of 1993 it says "MP1: Tallon Overworld (2002)" over the Doom map, and instead of 2010, it says "MP4: Flare Pool (2025" over the simple corridor.
