Did some webstuff for the you-know-whos to make ‘em findable. Retraining on more core networking, security, and trying to make more cacti and wildflowers.
I had a rough day, had to write emergency essay explaining how I became a better student somewhere between 1992 and today, and had maybe two paragraphs, had to omit details like getting hit hard in the head and trying to drink myself to death in Barack Obama's hotel room.

Saw some @kstptv.bsky.social coverage of impact of Walz announcing he will not run again. They interviewed old people at St. Paul’s most pretentious coffeeshops and barbershops. Near unanimous sighs of relief from folks who would have still voted for him, even though they forecast a loss.

the president is a bunch of evil fireflies beeping in a jar, he doesn’t distract from things so much as it’s a different firefly’s turn

he wants oil, kidnap maduro
Chris Murphy: "At some level he's winning tonight because clearly part of his intent here was to distract the American people -- you and I -- from what's happening here at home. You have 20 million families who are getting massive increases in their healthcare premiums. People will die."

Trumpian imperialism in action: kidnap the head of the regime, leaving the rest of it in place so as to access the oil reserves for the US companies. Then realize the oil is actually quite expensive to extract, so go ahead and SUBSIDIZE the oil companies. Perfect.

If Joe Biden, Barack Obama, or Bill Clinton had openly threatened to seize the territory of our NATO allies, Jake Tapper & every other CNN anchor would do nothing but point out how wildly illegal this is, how massively it endangers US national security, & how it is grounds for immediate impeachment.
TAPPER: Can you rule out the US is going to take Greenland by force?

MILLER: Greenland should be part of the US. By what right does Denmark assert control over Greenland? The US is the power of NATO

T: So force is on the table?

The whole world is now being instructed that Donald Trump can just say shit like “we’re going to run Venezuela” and sometimes it means nothing at all.

Hey some nerd (me) is quoted here in this @columjournreview.bsky.social story about how low-power FM radio stations weathered federal funding cuts by being too small to be eligible for federal funding... in contrast to NPR. The invulnerability of the truly grassroots? 📻💚

I believe Walz is making the right move compared to Biden’s late withdrawal. Walz was also wrong to run against the DFL endorsed candidate, State Senator Erin Murphy.
