Masking is not about doxing. That is the excuse. They are wearing masks so people cannot identify agents who engage in abuses, civil rights violations, and crimes. You can’t report someone or hold them accountable in any way if you can’t identify them.

The City of Philadelphia has introduced legislation to limited ICE in the city. The Federal Agents can not be masked, must have ID visible, must have arrested warrants signed by federal judges. They can't attack people. If they can't do this, they will be arrested.

The difference between 1930's Germany and America today is cellphones. That's it. Without them the government, as they are proven liars, would control every narrative. Cellphones are why they are failing. So yes, protest with your phones and have them ready to record.
