this is great news!

but the practice of assigning a top-level line identity to each branch is breaking under complexity. i got thinking about a different way to classify and group services in a network like this one.

Yeah, it was wild to me to realize that Toronto, including its suburbs, was denser than basically any US city except NYC and maybe LA, and urban (and suburban) areas in Canada are usually *vastly* denser than US urban areas of equivalent population (and mostly denser overall).
