Trying to get inside the head of a nurse…
One who worked 80 years ago in occupied Guernsey.

I’m a nurse too. But her world? Nothing like mine.

No electronics. Often no electricity. No dressings. Few medicines. Little food.
Just instinct, and decisions no one could train for.

If you could spend just one more day with someone, who would it be?

I'm excited to reveal the title of my next novel, out later this year!
It's about Lili, her best friend Em, and an unexpected friendship with a man called Dylan.
The setting is winter in Cornwall⛵️❄️

Well, here is it. The cover for my book 'Drystone – A Life Rebuilt'.

The colours are bold because this isn't a quiet story. The stones aren't placed neatly because this story isn't neat.

Pre-orders now. Out August 7, 2025.

I’ve just downloaded all my Amazon books onto my Kindle, in case they try to remove them. The good news is I don’t need to buy any more books ever - or is that the bad news? 🧐😳

It’s a good job writers never believe what they read or I’d be in search of a bigger hat!
Truly amazed by the latest review. Amazed and delighted. ‘A beautiful heart-rending book I wouldn't have missed for the world’.

What’s your perfect day?
For me it’s a day off, a swim, getting Wordle, someone supplying tea, a lap cat and a book 🤣. Not quite perfect, as too rough to swim.
