Why should I say anything about myself when you've clearly already made enough assumptions that you think you know who I am?
Pinned
Me, shunning Trump voters and removing them from my life:
I guess it helps some people sleep better at night, but if your very first reaction to someone having a different viewpoint is to make the assumption that they couldn't possibly be a real person, because no real person would disagree with your infinite wisdom...

You should think about that.

It's crazy that in 2026 so many people here are still defaulting to the "everyone I disagree with is a Russian bot" argument.

Are there Russian bots here? Of course.

But I think it represents a real problem with society that so many believe that no real person could possibly disagree with them.

I mean this in all seriousness.

If "uphold the Constitution" is too much to ask of our politicians, then we've already lost.

We already known Republicans won't meet that standard.

But if we can't reasonably demand that bare minimum from their opponents, then America is done.
February 8, 2026 at 7:58 PM
But if you read my comment, the specific bare minimum I'm discussing is literally demanding a politician who commits to not stand by and let the fascists win.

That's my point.

People seem to be missing that part.

If I was demanding they met ALL my policy demands, it would be a MUCH longer list.

It's going exactly as well as the strategy of just repeating, "vote blue no matter who!" and then shouting down anyone who dares criticize Democratic politicians.

kind of funny that an olympian said they are here to represent "compassion, respect, and love for others" and some people automatically knew that was a statement against them
February 7, 2026 at 10:25 PM
I'm pissed about those people, too. But I don't think the way to get them to vote is by telling them that they're not allowed to criticize Democratic politicians who make bad choices supporting Republican policies and nominees, and that they need to just fall in line and "vote blue no matter who."
February 7, 2026 at 10:17 PM
It's been going about as well as your strategy seems to be going for you. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Btw, if you read further you'd see I advocate for pushing Dems to be better especially in primaries, but will hold my nose and vote for their candidate in the general, since the alternative is worse.

But, go off, I guess.

I think he sees us the way most people see the ants outside their house. As long as they don't start getting into the house or interfering with their lives, the ants are inconsequential.

But if they do start to interfere, then they get killed.
February 7, 2026 at 9:50 PM
It's entirely possible to say this up until the general election and then still hold your nose and vote for A.

I hate it, but have done it. But if we don't at least TRY to push them to be better, then what are we even doing?
February 7, 2026 at 7:41 PM
"We need our politicians uphold the Constitution and hold accountable those who don't."

You: "Stop demanding a PERFECT candidate who meets ALL your demands!"

Let me be clear, this is the absolute BARE MINIMUM we should be asking for and expecting.
February 7, 2026 at 7:37 PM
Sometimes the only threat politicians understand is, "we won't vote for you if you don't commit to this." So, threatening them with this is one of the only pieces of leverage we have to pressure them to be better.

And they NEED to be better.

I will not vote for any candidate who runs with "we need to move forward" and refuses to prosecute this administration for every single one of their crimes. Accountability is all.

The Winter Games is a great place to start international protests for a call to boycott the L.A Olympics/World Cup. Billions in contracts are at stake. Start messing with the money things change. Demonstrating once the games open will be too late. The money will have been made. They won't care.

Why are so many undocumented immigrants being held in detention for so long instead of being deported?
Simple. The billionaires who own the detention centers get paid for keeping people here. They don't get paid for people who get deported.
It's not about the law, it's about taking your money.

ICE was flawed from day one... born out of post-9/11 fear and built on policies that blurred national security with domestic control. Some systems don’t need reform. They need to be abolished.

I hope Dems begin to see that moderate or progressive, AIPAC is not our friend.

They endorse January 6th insurrectionists. Yet if you so much as suggest the US uphold its own Leahy laws, no matter your record, they will work against you.
