Agree.
Rep. Casten has it absolutely correct: Trump is *both* weaker *and* more dangerous than ever.

Buckle up, but don't be afraid. Because fear is how he wins.
Let's be clear. Donald Trump will indict the Fed Chair, kidnap foreign leaders and kill American citizens in MN if it distracts you from asking WTF is in the Epstein files because HIS BASE doesn't like pedophiles. None of this is normal. But everything he does is from weakness right now.

Well said Sir. Thank you for doing your job and stating the facts.

This is the way.
We can either let the abuses of Donald Trump's administration become our new normal.

Or we can pursue real justice, accountability, and transparency.

Illinois has chosen our path — those who believe in the Constitution and the promise of America should join us in doing so.

💯
Pete Buttigieg is absolutely correct. We must hold Noem accountable for what happens in her department.

Walz: "If they have emails showing that I have committed fraud, you should get those! Why aren't they putting them out there? Why aren't they turning them over to prosecutors? Right now they're hiding behind a veil of innuendo. They're protecting the biggest fraudster in the White House."

@kylec.bsky.social tells the truth. thank you for your commentary.
COMMENTARY: It seems an increasing number of Americans, including elected leaders and journalists, are afraid to tell the truth about what happened on January 6. That's dangerous.

Alas....
If ever there were a time you might want a separate but equal branch of the United States government to run a check on the president, it would be now ….
January 4, 2026 at 2:47 PM
@petebuttigieg.bsky.social frames it so clearly. As always.
It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

Clinton: Don't trust me, release the files.
Trump: Don't release the files, trust me.

Exactly this. 👇📉
The minute Trump enacted his first tariffs and fired thousands of federal workers, it became Trump’s economy, not Biden’s!

He was an amazing artistic talent and an unflinching beacon of political truth. He used his emotional intelligence to the greatest effect.
Rob Reiner: “Silence in the face of authoritarianism is complicity. Speaking out is a patriotic act. Democracy doesn’t defend itself. It requires participation, vigilance, and courage from ordinary people."

Agree...💙
In a world where fewer and fewer people concern themselves with the plight of others, the loss of Rob Reiner, who cared deeply about humanitarian causes, feels that much more devastating. RIP: 1947-1925.

Almost impossible to believe.
How can this be allowed? Who will come here now? This is terrible for tourism and business in general. Private data for law abiding people is no longer.
It's not just social media. Looks like visitors to the US from Europe and other countries that are part of the visa waiver program will have to submit an enormous amount of data about themselves and their families, including DNA, if proposed new rules are accepted

“He is not unstoppable and you are not without power”

Remind yourself of this every day.

Especially on the bad days.
Buttigieg on Indiana: "The big part of how Trumpism works is to make you feel totally disempowered. To make him feel inevitable. And yet the clear takeaway from this is he is not unstoppable and you are not without power."

This.
It’s way past time for every WH reporter to speak out to Trump’s face when he’s insulting female reporters. Is your access so critical that you’ll allow your colleagues to be abused?

More of this.
The European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) announced that it will no longer publish content on Elon Musk’s platform, X. The organization said it can “no longer ethically participate in a social network that its owner has transformed into a machine of disinformation and propaganda.”

Ummm…wow.
Mike Johnson’s entire worldview is a time machine back to the 1950s and somehow his wife hit the gas pedal. This is what happens when MAGA convinces itself that misogyny is a family value.
