This is stupid in general, but the fact that this would ban Ragbrai is even stupider.

I’ve seen two different videos; one asking millennial metal heads how their bluegrass kick is going, and one asking millennial punks how their outlaw country kick is going…I’ve never felt so attacked on two fronts before

I chose to shoot the Oshun parade on my #charmera camera last night. The linked blog post has the whole set, which kind of look like a fever dream to me. Here are four of them, though.

Hey Colesby, how’d you get through the slog this is working overnight the first night of the first weekend of Mardi Gras?

Glad you asked. I listened to Nuclear War by Annie Jacobsen and that was as optimistic as it sounds.

Only 15 minutes later than normal. I’ll be betting on the weekend being worse.
Working this weekend and taking bets on how bad the bus (I take the Tulane bus out) will be despite it not being interrupted by the parades.

Parading tonight? Swing by the Kerry Irish Pub and catch me singing Irish songs from 9pm-1am!

Went for my first run in probably 4 months. Various thing kept getting in the way (injuries, minor health issues) but it felt good to be back out and running.

2. It was not a staffer.

4. He isn’t sorry. He means every racist thought he shares.
5. His base agrees with him.
6. He will do it again.
7. No one in power will hold him accountable.

As much as I shoot at the parks with different cameras, I’ve never been able to take the same photo on the same film in two different formats. Fixed that.

Cameras; Kodak Mickey-matic, Canon AE-1 w/50mm 1.8
Film: Lomography Color ‘92 Sun-kissed

Open your US history text and pick out any particular evil thing and I guarantee it traces back to some not-quite-wealthy-enough whites worried they may miss a rung on the ladder they're climbing.

“We are each called to love God first and to love our neighbors as ourselves (Deut. 6:5, Lev. 19:18, Matt. 22:36-40, KJV).
However, that "Greatest Commandment" was never directed to the government, but to INDIVIDUAL believers”.

That’s it. That’s the dumbest thing I’ll ever read.
Speaking on behalf of a religion that actively sought to spread itself to every country in the world whether invited or not, Speaker Johnson would like to share with you the Biblical case for strong borders.

I just want everyone not from New Orleans to see what they do to a road to "prevent terrorism." Instead of just closing it?

This is one side of a road that carries most of the big parades.
Security barriers have been placed along St. Charles Avenue from Calliope to Napoleon Ave. on the uptown side of St. Charles. Serpentine formation will remain in place until after Ash Wednesday>>>https://www.wdsu.com/article/new-orleans-safety-bourbon-street-parades/70224734
