It's funny that Nintendo paywall 4K resolution, like we didn't already pay £400+ for the Switch 2, when it's *only* the resolution they've dialled up. Not a single 4K texture in sight. Can you imagine opening your settings on a PC game and seeing a padlock next to the display settings? 😆

They've gone from industry heroes to cringeworthy sell-outs like they're speedrunning it.

YouTube will banish your content to algorithm hell if you dare utter certain words (like rape for instance) but then will fill their platform with disgusting ads like these. In fact I'd say 90% of the ads I've seen lately have been fake products/ services flogged by ai wielding con artists...1/2

I started writing my next novel today and I don't know what kind of productive demon it was who took over me but I got out 5.5K words.
I'm usually a cosy 1-2K per sesh kinda guy. So this was a SPURT 🤓

It's curious Stranger Things would give so much focus to a character needing to overcome the fear of coming out when the show has given more screen time to the difference in taste between Coca Cola and New Coca Cola, than they have to whatever homophobia that character might have ever experienced.

Well, this year, I spent Christmas completely out of if, full of either the flu or COVID. Alone and with not a single decoration up or festive song playing 😅
Its not a celebration you can just do a few days or a week later cos it feels so wrong to watch xmas movies or do the whole shebang after.

I got flu in time for Christmas, so I'm just spending most of my time conked out. But when I am awake, I've been reading The Shining. I think this is the King novel that's making me actually afraid. Not of any ghosts but just Wendy's anxiety over being somewhere so remote and snowed in. No rescue.
