I’m also concerned with how ai romance bots will impact ppls view of consent and relationships and I think this is really just another side of that. I esp worry for young people how they will have warped views of being challenged or just being told no bc they are used to ai agreeing to everything
Even if it was just scraping from porn actors, that then is stealing their work. And this isn’t even going into the explicit language about consent with “ai girls never say no” which just plays into misogynist violence (I would argue even more than other porn fantasies)

So genuinely more libraries and nursing homes and senior centers should host scam awareness classes for older folks. Even just pop ups and emails can get them so bad.
Man, reach out to your older folks and remind them that there's never a computer problem so urgent that they should have to go to the bank and withdraw a bunch of cash while on the phone with anyone.

Might be being away from film twitter or seeing how rough it is to get started in the industry under ai or finding a new path with archive and librarianship but I do feel less obliged to write reviews and essays and be seen as some critic.

It's amazing how, when a public figure says something that is *blatantly* heinous, we're told we can't be mean to them and must care about their freedom of speech.

This honestly just gets to how I hate the internet understanding of “threats” bc you can pretty much code any criticism of a public figure as harassment vs real harassment (esp when what Kelly said and is being criticized for does encourage harassment of victims)
