I know ppl point out how young straight girls are using ai bots for romance bc boys are so misogynistic and violent. And this is a scary band aid to this issue esp when the marketing around porn bots would just exasperate that problem.

Even if it was just scraping from porn actors, that then is stealing their work. And this isn’t even going into the explicit language about consent with “ai girls never say no” which just plays into misogynist violence (I would argue even more than other porn fantasies)

Is it true that it is boring as shit? Or is it an interesting car crash?

I also think this isn’t just the elderly but just ppl in generations who didn’t grow up with computers bc I’ve seen my mom also fall for many scams unfortunately and a lot of it seems to relate to assuming the best out of ppl on the internet or just taking things at face value

In her later days, my grandma had an iPad for her puzzle games and she would press on every pop up. It’s a miracle that thing didn’t blow up from the malware. Once she wanted my help getting back to her game and there were so many tabs open for obvious virus ridden sites

*also Courtney uses she/they and is comfortable being called Shayne’s wife I just feel weird putting the straight label on them

Bc with them they did specifically say and make jokes about how uncomfortable they generally were with the theorizing and fanfiction lately bc of doxxing fears but also Courtney has said they were really uncomfortable with the sexualization of them

I found it to be so telling of the importance of boundaries specifically stated by the creators esp bc I’m pretty aware of the smosh fandoms version of this with Shayne and Courtney. It is certainly different with their gender difference (though I wouldn’t call them straight bc Court is bi and NB)

Like I still like writing but I’m doing it for me now and worrying less about impressing people. It’s pretty freeing and I think I put too much pressure on myself with this hobby in the past bc I feared not being productive

It’s pretty exhausting when it usually ignores that the current system not only doesn’t address these issues but usually makes said issues 10x worse
