Three thoughts.

1. It’s always been about the white nationalism

2. He is returning to the old favorites because his support is waning

3. He dabbled with this trope before but would always leave a hair of deniability. Going straight there also seems like a sign of weakness

I've been really loving the Flaming Hydra subscription for this reason.
whoever figures out a way to bundle independent journalism subscriptions will be a hero
i know that this is an unpopular take, but everyone starting their own newsletter as a revenue stream is not a sustainable model for writing and reporting or for people who love and want to pay for media.

This is my friends’ 73-year-old dad. He was protesting against DHS’s murder of Alex Pretti when ICE goons broke his jaw in three places with a flashbang grenade.

“I wanted to go [back to protest] this morning. … they need to be told that what they’re doing ain’t going to happen here.”

An underreported+underthought truth that the vast maj of Trumpers are thoroughly televisual. They want to see obscenity on screens that preserves their unreachable safety & wholeness. Standard scopophiliac sadism. ICE polling confirms it: once that screen is punctured, the fetish starts to suffer.
1) they do not have the guys for this

2) if they send them to ultra-blue districts, those districts will still get blue reps

3) if they send them to swing districts, they will be showing Republicans what being overpoliced looks like - big risk

Update: In the past week we've learned ICE has secured property to build human warehouses in Merrimack, NH and Williamsport, MD *as well as* Surprise, AZ; Upper Bern, PA; and Tremont, PA.

Facts that bear repeating.

This link no longer appears to work (www.justice.gov/epstein/file...)

It contained an FBI email chain outlining an allegation against Trump involving sexual activities with a child.

This is a screenshot from that email chain.
