I admit I believe it would help if democracies around the world demonstrated visible resistance to MAGA and to their own homegrown fascists. This needs to be a global ‘Democracy Spring’.
Finally, Europeans are taking to the streets to protest against the American aggression against Europe.
But it should not have taken this long. And it should not only be in 🇩🇰🇬🇱.

There must be no place in civil society for a man who believed he was justified in taking the life of an unarmed woman. It's almost impossible to imagine anything he can say or do to redeem himself in our eyes.

A friend in Minneapolis just sent me this video. Looks like thousands have come together for a vigil after an ICE agent shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. This was my neighborhood for several years before coming to Portland.
