Watching the Minnesota No Kings rally stream and YouTube just ran an ad for Dreo fans which they did with the Kings hockey team, “Who is the King? We are the Kings, with Dreo”. I’m just really wondering how that was what the algorithm chose.

We may have taught too much of the wrong things about the rise of fascism. What the people in power seem to have learned was “they killed critics! And got away with it!” Instead of “there were all these times and places they could have been stopped—and in some places they were!!”

Is there a term for the emotional state where song lyrics feel *really* deep? I mean, I’ve cried at Journey’s “Separate Ways” ( because true love *won’t* desert you, it might only have changed), and right now Don McLean’s American Pie is hitting me hard. (While sober, I mean.)

I remember thinking, when Harris ran for the Senate, that I was looking forward to someday voting for her for President. That day is just a little sooner than expected, is all.

I…I can kind of see this being useful… (not as much as a ding-dang functional printer driver, but it would be helpful in some large-scale layout situations)
