The non-Christmas Vince Guaraldi Trio music also works if you need something modern.

Would including Irving Berlin make it easier or harder for them?

I mean, I think they should have a holiday, with our own Spreadsheet Santa and we send off our wishlists and show how we’ve been So Good with our formulas and don’t leave broken links everywhere.

They need that extra padding in case of illness. Especially the ones with too few grandparents.

They’re sneaky! It turned out my thing I thought was my liver was actually my eyes (without glasses I get seasick).

When I was served my lawyer left me a message and I went and picked it up from the sheriffs’ office. I told the clerk I was kinda disappointed no one did the fake-flower-delivery because then I’d at least get flowers and she drew me some flowers on scratch paper. I treasure that to this day.

This alone would qualify you for lifetime Dad status.

I think that makes sense, it’s how far you can reach divided by the distance left and as the distance left gets smaller the annoyance approaches infinity.

I literally just said “Oh, G-d!” out loud this picture is so cute! Those cheeks!!

They finally have the algorithms to actually do the things they said Clippy would do and most of us are used to personalizing apps now so users can get rid of the parts they found annoying. (I turned off everything except the background animations and sounds. I want my purring kitty back!)

I think he means the officers on duty, not the chalk?

This is the one I was trying to figure out. The good news is I’m pretty sure the stage- and event-lighting field has more than a few people who’d be willing to give advice on this!

I’m so excited! And congratulations!!

But better music!

I had to re-write. Jaya does such a great job with whatever she’s handed AND she always has such insight when she finds her own topics.

The same *as* sexualizing everything…” sorry
August 16, 2025 at 7:00 PM
Acknowledging queerness exists and has always existed is not the same sexualizing everything! (Although I do think friendship in general gets short shrift in media and that hurts.)

It’s a completely unstilted delivery of some tough lines and he gets the comedy through. So great.

Me too!! The poor guy I had a crush on in junior high; between Much Ado, Philadelphia Story, and Remington Steele, I believed firmly that teasing, flirtatious banter was the correct way to show my love. I think I watched Much Ado at least once a week the summer I was 12.

Part of the reason I replaced my HVAC this year and went with the company I did was because the guy totally understood that I refused to have my thermostat on my wi-fi.

They could show it outdoors in the summer! People could cheer when their block shows up!

Do we need to have public rewatches of “Gangs of New York”?
