This just seems like an overreaction to the chance creation issues in the playoffs vs. Gotham without understanding that without both starting wingers and your starting CF playing with a sprained MCL is just unlucky.

This just seems like an overreaction to the chance creation issues in the playoffs vs. Gotham without understanding that without both starting wingers and your starting CF playing with a sprained MCL is just unlucky.

KC Current swapping two roughly equivalent value midfielders of different styles suggests that they very much buy into the theory of football that the good players are the ones who get the goals and assists, and the other ones are interchangeable

I have to assume there are more moves coming, because a squad build where there's no true 6 (Rodríguez IMO is best as a conservative 8) and you're also likely to sit Sentnor is pretty incoherent.

KC has some very good veteran midfielders, but none of them are the profile to replace Hutton's output on all fronts.
If you look at this deal from KC's perspective, it's Hutton for Bethune + 100k...but it's also removing a cog from a record-setting defense that they do not have a replacement for.
