Uma ilustração básica de um Mesosaurus que fiz ontem.

Esse foi um pararéptil que viveu no Brasil e na África durante o Permiano. Seu fóssil é importantíssimo porque auxiliou no suporte da teoria da Deriva Continental e é um exemplo clássico de sucessão faunística em estratigrafia.

Endoceras é um Cefalópode da classe Nautiloidea, que tem registro de sua concha com até 3 metros, totalizando seu tamanho em vida com até 5 metros. Uma possível concha de 9,1 metros, infelizmente destruída, poderia ter pertencido a esse animal.
