Donald Trump’s trade policies are nothing more than a tax on working families that will jack up prices, threaten jobs, and impact the way we live.

Today, I've signed an executive order directing our agencies to study the impact of the Trump Slump to protect our state's economy.

Socialism of the .1% is still socialism. In fact, having police paid for by taxes is socialism, technically speaking. Same goes for teachers, garbage collectors, and, yes, a national military. Otherwise, they’re just private security subcontractors.

Part of what’s so upsetting about the current reign of Republicans in the US is how hard they’re trying to prove Giorgio Agamben right.

2. DOJ's refusal to provide updates on efforts to get Abrego Garcia released from custody is also an affront to what the unanimous Supreme Court ordered.⬇️

I am sure Judge Xinis will take action, now with the backing of both the Fourth Circuit and the Supreme Court.

The tariffs and the economic chaos shouldn’t take your eye off the authoritarianism and Kremlin-allied white nationalism Trump is installing or trying to install in Washington.

The richest man in the world spent more money than most of us will see in our lifetimes to lose a state Supreme Court race by 10 points.

And the fact his $25 million was a drop in the bucket compared to what he's spent on other elections is exactly why we must overturn Citizens United.

In Oct 1933, 9 months after Hitler became chancellor, Germany announced its withdrawal from the League of Nations. The ostensible reason was the refusal of the Western powers to Germany's demands for military parity. Parity is again being used as an excuse to withdraw from international treaties.

So how many people realize that the Trump administration has effectively ended capitalism in the USA? We have now stepped through the looking glass and now live in a command economy and a one-party state.

MAGA & co like to use the term “lawfare”to describe the ways in which the Dems and progressives fight them in the courts. It’s very revealing of how they think. By equating war and law, in effect they deny that the law is a legitimate form of politics and equate it with war. They reject the law.

We’ve tried to shelter our minds but tonight we’re preparing for the genocide of Science.

Entire NIH departments will have no leaders.

World renowned Scientists kicked to the curb without cause, & grants will loose their lead investigators.

Is this what they want?
Chaos? Destruction?
NIH ban on renewing senior scientists adds to assaults on its in-house research

I wonder if the problem with the dems have approached dealing with MAGA and Trump has been the singular focus on Trump himself. In contrast, the Republicans and Trumpists attack individuals and institutions one at a time. Divide and conquer. Everywhere and all at once. That is the way forward.
