Slice of Life ramblings including vidjagames and art!
Alright the grip nearly has the right whittling done to allow the RG35XXH to sit in it comfortably, then I just need some extra round the outside for the bulk. Then it's cast and mould a better material time! Should be good

Tomorrow I should open up the next paper clay to keep working on the projects. The stand is getting some Das Clay to the base to add some extra weight, else putting anything on it will just tip it over. I am enjoying moulding the base pole as I go though, try to make it not-wonky.

Just finished up some paper clay (both I've been using the last week or so were only half-full), and I knew I had some more somewhere. A rummage through an older project box (one that is safe and not lost) and there it is! A GIANT pack of paper clay! I can keep going!

when things aren't drying.

I went to art school...

I had no clue this is what people meant by "warm ups". Like, a whole routine? Each part specific and functional? Dang.

Probably would have less "forgot how to draw" days if I did these every time. I'm gonna try it.

The two very non-picturesque projects I've been working on. The grip for the RG35XXH and a stand for some of the little figures dotted around the living room.

Now I need a nap.

Youtube: "we know you watch videos at a certain speed and we made changing that annoying, so what if we made it simpler, but you have to do it for every video?"

That's why I don't watch on a fucking ANDROID DEVICE, I don't want that to be a WINDOWS PROBLEM TOO!!

Got me some mild anxiety and a lil bit of 'aaaaa' today. Nothing to worry about, just wish my earbuds and earphones were charged to get some soothing sounds between my ears

oh yeah happy valentines day! May all the single folk be left to their own devices today, and those smitten with one another be sweet to each other!

Tweaking some of these projects take a while when it's clay and you have to wait a day for things to dry before you can get back to work.

Also the stick clip needs work again, as the clip itself became the failing point. Expected, it never gripped firmly.

oh hey, Friday 13th! What makes it so unlucky?
*reads a little about it*

oh okay, it's only really unlucky if you consider Friday to also be unlucky! Otherwise it's just regular unlucky! Or lucky! The rules are loose, seems it only gained real traction in the 18/1900s

and perpetuated by media.

Hrm, should've napped instead of pushing through. Now brain's in sleep mode at 9pm. You'd think "ah, a sensible bedtime! good work!" but if I sleep, I'll get 2hrs and not be able to sleep again until 2am at earliest.

Started rewatching the Daredevil TV series from the start. That one-shot corridor fight at the end of episode 2 remains one of the best things to have ever come out of the MCU.

Game is off! Gonna have to set rules again, no Minecraft after Midnight! Doesn't matter if I've been applying clay to things during the day, no blocks after midnight!!

Wind-down Bookworm maybe, but nothing I'll be playing for hours! IMPORTANT RULES FOR SLEEP!!

Need to make sure I don't screw up again tonight and stay up too late for silly Minecraft things. I got very distracted with a village split between a river and a mountain with 2 inaccessible libraries. I have yet to train myself to walk away from 'em and leave 'em to it.

Been a while since I left my phone in the wrong room while I slept. Luckily I only missed one alarm, so it wasn't the worst thing. It's what I get for playing Minecraft too late. I needed mangrove wood!

Just in case anyone doubts that a Reform government would usher in a soggy mash of Trumpesque policies.

Stressed myself out overcomplicating my plastic shelves. Not all of them are interchangeable, but the two in the bedroom, it turns out, are! So I wound over-exerting myself for nothing!

Done now, and I've moved the lamp to the right so I can draw on paper before sleep, too.

Oh yeah! The RPG Maker Festival is going on now and the Torch60 library is part of the event!

Play our games that are normally $0.00 for the low, low price of $0.00.

"we're doing it for the children"

I don't trust governments to mean that, especially if their child and parent services don't reflect that.
And I don't trust businesses with that because children are rarely paying customers and don't affect their bottom line.

Both have ulterior motives.
