Fireworks are goin', and have been on and off for the last hr. I guess enough people are expecting to sleep through New Years itself (though when THAT kicks off sleep will be difficult no doubt).
I expect I'll be distracted doing nothing, so here's hopng 2026 finds some way to right the ship!

I Slept. Roughly 4hrs of complete unconsciousness, a rarity and would have been a nice wake up, too. Much gunk removal to go though! Gonna have a raw throat for a while

Took cold meds and I'm still down for the count today. I'm reluctantly allowing neighbor to pick up my meds for me.
Also GoCat's sick. He's got fluid in his chest, around his heart. It's not something they can drain. He'll be on medication, but not something I can safely give.

Ah yes, I needed to replace a pen from a box in my stationary collection, and naturally the box is Safe And Missing! The cold's still kicking and that's sapped a lot of energy, so I'll have to stop looking for now, maybe hunt again tomorrow.

2pm hit, and meds were ingested! Now my eyes are mad because I said we'd be napping once I'd taken 'em! Patience, body, I didn't have lunch prepared! Better to work on eating now than get woken up from a nap by a tummy ache!

Tomorrow is recovery, there is no way around it. I'm back to nose-faucet and coughs, and if I sleep tomorrow away I can hopefully rid myself of this accursed cold.
