It feels like I'm being given the opportunity to move forward with life at the moment. I think I'd sacrificed my social life for transition and for work in 24-25. Now I have a simracing community who wants my help, I'm making content and writing again. We all need to connect with others somehow.

Meanwhile in Europe almost everyone openly supports Ukraine (rightly), but try to talk about Palestine and you get looks of embarrassment and comments like, "I try to avoid the news." Apparently genocide is acceptable if your government and state broadcaster openly supports it.

Every time I sad or low, there's a new Zohran Mamdani clip that makes me grin.
I like watching the Rolex 24. It's a form of racing I can watch because it's fun, not investing in because I need a certain Swiss-Italian to win or just not crash into someone. It's basically like being a Liverpool fan in 2026 and being able to not watch the Premier League for a whole weekend.

Apple Venus & Wasp Star by XTC are two of the only albums I've listened to from start to finish without a dud track. Leonard Cohen's 'I'm Your Man' is often cited as the example of a legendary album with 1 terrible track; these two have no 'Jazz Police' anywhere, and it seems they're both on Tidal.
