This one took a couple of tries until I nailed down the right composition and pose, but I’m so proud of it.

Ok, gotta say, I am fighting for my life with this particular client project and it's probably because I'm art blocked, burnt out and need a break. But I think I got it to a pretty decent point today. It's not my best but it's still beautiful and it'll be done on time.

The exhaustion continues and I blame the cold grey dark weather. Winter was fine when I didn't have to cope with massive seasonal depression... But I must remind myself that I am a mammal and it's only natural for the soft animal of my soul to want to seek comfort and sleep through the winter.

Had the chance to illustrate for Quanta again, and got to draw one of my favorite animals: sharks! This is for “Shark Data Suggests Animals Scale Like Geometric Objects” by Joanna Thompson. It was really fun to focus on all sorts of species, from the large Whale Shark to the small Spiny Dogfish
