Every single @uklabour.bsky.social MP, the UK PM and every single office of state should come off X and join blue sky.

It would send a very powerful message.

Another must-read blog post about from Chris Grey, even though I don't agree with his assessment that Labour can't move faster than they are when it comes to reversing Brexit's effects.

He certainly makes an immense intellectual effort to back up his thesis. As always, commendable and appreciated.
Beware the Brexit reset backlash. New post on my Brexit & Beyond Blog. With the reset barely begun, the Brexiters' vicious backlash against it is gathering force. But the reset has good justification (& those dismissing it as trivial should beware):

Nobody ever planted a tree in this photo. It was a working gravel pit 30 years ago.

We need to get over our obsession with planting trees and let nature do the job. The results are just SO much better.

It's also about realising we are not, in fact, central to everything. 🌍

So much better than X or Facebook. It doesn’t kill news links, the news mix is healthier here, and it’s an ideal environment for community-building.

Our citizen journalism is thriving here. Keep it up @bsky.app!

Goes well with ‘thunderplump’: a sudden downpour that soaks you to the skin in seconds.
