I think it was an appropriate comparison that Tim Walz made between Anne Frank and children in Minnesota who are scared to go outside and have seen family & neighbors dragged away.
That said, part of the negative reaction to his words comes from being tired of seeing people misuse her image /1

Found a stack of these ICE stickers in my super liberal boomer mom’s kitchen. Was confused until she explained she’s going to go around and put them on stop signs! Go mom! (I think I’ve got to help her because she’s probably too short to reach and it’s slippery out there, can’t risk a broken hip)

Did my 2nd postpartum erg class this morning!!
Hopped in the beginners class, so the coach put me front and center to be the “stroke” for the class, meaning everyone else followed my spm and form. Felt good to be the best one in class!
Lots of warmup and drills, and then was the main workout.
