We've once again reached the point where a useful term or word loses its original intended use and becomes shorthand for, thing I don't like, but don't want to say that.
Anyone who still uses the term "slop" to describe anything that isn't AI generated garbage or right-wing propaganda mills should never again be taken seriously as a critic. I personally find it insulting to art.

Data is correct, causal agency is (IMO) incorrect.
The vast majority of ppl who use AI to make images and video have never touched and would never touch Photoshop/AfterEffects/Illustrator/etc. The issue is Adobe trying to squeeze its users with subscriptions, and other customer-hostile behavior.
