When people ignorantly label "cyclists" as entitled for wanting equitable infrastructure, just remember, they're oppressing people with mobility challenges as well with that rhetoric.
Protected cycle tracks are not just for cyclists, they allow more freedom for those with mobility issues

La infraestructura no es suficiente
Ayer salí a un concierto en San José. Luego quise ir a comer con un amigo. Fuimos al Acapulco. Estaba cerrado. Bajamos a Wongs. Estaba cerrado.
De vuelta al parqueo nos intentaron asaltar 2 veces. En el boulevard nuevo, aún con las cámaras e iluminación nuevas

Tengo 3 colchones en relativamente buen estado, que me gustaría donarlos, el único detalle es que no tengo transporte propio para llevarlos. Si conocen de alguna ONG o incluso familia, persona que los necesite, me avisan 🙏🏼 (antes de que sugieran Chepe se baña, no hacen pickups de cosas)

I am a climate scientist and this is correct ⬇️
Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

¿Se imaginan que en Chepe y alrededores hubieran scooters y bicis eléctricas para poder volver a casa de las fiestas de año nuevo y no tener que preocuparse por los precios o disponibilidad del Uber/Didi/taxis, por no tener carro o por los horarios limitados de transporte público?
