This is Link. His ball suddenly went missing and then reappeared trapped under his bed. He called his brother Otto in for backup, knowing they'd need all three of their collective brain cells to get it back. 12/10 for both (IG: thegoldenbruvs)

I'm ever so grateful that there are absolute champions like @drkyliesoanes.bsky.social showing us how humans and other life can and must share cities. Thank you, Kylie! www.abc.net.au/news/2025-09...
We need more housing, but Kylie says nature belongs in cities too
Kylie Soanes says urban development should not come at the expense of nature and there's no reason why we should not spot a fairy wren on the way to the bus stop.

An easy-to-understand article about the time it takes for each different form of energy transition.
There are so many aspects about the astoundingly fast transition in energy that peeps fail to grasp

Here's some words from Prof Peter Newman and I about the fastest energy leap in history

The leafy seadragon is one of the ocean’s greatest masters of disguise
Found only in the waters off southern and western Australia, it looks less like an animal and more like a drifting piece of seaweed
Its body is covered in elaborate leaf-like appendages that sway with the currents.

Went to see Beauty and the Beast in Perth. So good! It's times like these, when it would be handy living a few hours closer to the city, so we could attend more concerts, gallery exhibitions, comedy and plays.

Yesterday I donated signed copies of my books to The Footpath Library - the only org in Aus that provides mobile library outreach services to people experiencing homelessness.

They have a mobile library in Perth where homeless people can access free books, reading glasses, a cuppa & a conversation.
