There is a belief that "nirvana" originally was used to mean "cool down" ... in a Goldie Lox & 3 bears kinda way.
A similar Thai term is "jai yen" - cool heart.

I am of the opinion, based on a small articulate faction of well informed people, that China DOES NOT WANT "world power".
They simply want to no longer be repressed and exploited by other world powers.
They are not modeling after the US Raping Bully theme.
They just want better peaceful lives.

Trump lost his trade war in every possible sense. It hurt the economy; it made us look ludicrous and lawless; and it gave Beijing a chance to reach for world power. And there is nothing Trump can do about any of this except back down and blame others. (1/2)
