I’m so excited to share that I’m running to represent District 34 in the Rhode Island State Senate!

I’m running because our rural communities deserve a fighter. We need a voice in the Senate that will stand up for affordability, government transparency, and our environment.

Our kids are struggling, and teachers are sounding the alarm—they can’t do this alone.

Every student deserves access to support that helps them succeed not just academically, but emotionally and mentally too. This isn’t just about school—it’s about saving lives.
“If a child falls and breaks an arm, there’s a policy, there’s help available. Mental health is very different," said state Rep. Megan Cotter. "We need to give children the tools to succeed and be successful adults.”
Crisis in the classroom: Lawmakers push for more mental health resources in schools
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and educators are continuing to warn of a sharp rise in students’ mental health struggles in the classroom.

So proud of our community and all who came out to speak and in support of title IX policies, the LGBTQ+ community and freedom to read. 📚 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️

You helped change the mind of the requestor of the policy review for the majority of items.
Chariho School Cmte update and were shocked for good… They decided not to review the transgender or title IX policies after all.

Library policy is still on.

Proud of community for defending what’s just and freedom for all.
