The movement we stand a part of is based on creating a culture that embraces the human dignity of all people. Without the right to vote and making that process as transparent as well as accessible, bodily freedom and consequently, a form of democracy, is impossible.

I’m pleased to announce that following our reporting, multiple people have reported that a formal inquiry is being made into SEGM’s accreditation, and that the CME courses are at least temporarily pulled down.
1. Washington State University has credentialed an anti-trans, conversion therapy org SEGM to teach CMEs to medical providers.

The panel is filled with the most vitriolic of anti-trans activists.

Unsuspecting providers may be taught harmful practices.

The Southern Poverty Law Center has dubbed the Society for Evidence-Based Gender Medicine an anti-LGBTQ hate group for its role in proliferating pseudoscience and transphobic policies.

Going to a #NoKings rally today? Good but let’s be careful and consider surveillance still.

All rallies are important but let’s get ready to do it every day and in front of law makers because this people power changes the discourse- we’ve seen it in action when we passed the Repro Privacy Act.

If there is anything we learned from the last 9 months, it’s that real change begins in our towns, cities and schools. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with candidates that not only support bodily freedom, but also take their roles seriously against all the challenges we currently face.

RI's Governor McKee is poised to nominate an apparently lifelong homophobe & misogynist to a lifetime judgeship. Michael McCaffrey opposes bodily freedom and for over 30 yrs, documented in the legislature. Only chance is you temanding your state senator vote no. RI is at risk and few are watching.
Florida and Texas made a quiet move that could have huge implications nationwide: They asked to join a lawsuit against the FDA seeking to drastically roll back access to the abortion drug mifepristone.

But unlike the states before them, they seek to rescind the drug's approval. Me in @slate.com:

Hannah Arendt is the finest chronicler of totalitarianism in modern history. Her momentus books are still worth the effort, but that isn't current fashion. Her simpler magazine series on the murderous Nazi Eichmann, .."the banality of evil" details how mediocre bureaucrats facilitate mass murder.
“Totalitarianism in power invariably replaces all first-rate talents, regardless of their sympathies, with those crackpots and fools whose lack of intelligence and creativity is still the best guarantee of their loyalty.” ― Hannah Arendt, The Origins of Totalitarianism
