Walking down Falls Road is always an adventure. Today's encounter involved a gold sedan blasting Tiny Tim's "Tiptoe through the Tulips" where the driver was in full scary clown regalia.

I'm mad about a lot of real things these days, but in this moment I'm extra incensed over the Blue Jays setup behind home plate. The luxury seats and the widescreen ad are devoid of spirit. I fear the Os will end up with something similarly soul sucking next season.

I know everyone is consumed with other news, but this is a big fucking deal: The Trump administration says that IUDs and the Pill are actually abortions.

Here's what USAID told the NYT about the $10m in birth control they plan to destroy.

The Reisterstown Community Fridge has been gifted 2 food pantries. One is freestanding and the other will require a post to be installed. Who has a site in Baltimore County that can host these and foster mutual aid to combat hunger?

Inconsequential gripe: I miss the claymation Bird graphics at Os games.

@petelevin.bsky.social I'm so glad I was able to find them again! 🧡

Much of the cardboard and paper goods strewn about our homes are sold by a single private company, with its name, Uline, stamped on the bottom.

Few Americans know that a multibillion-dollar fortune made on those ubiquitous products fuels far-right candidates across the country.

That Cardboard Box in Your Home Is Fueling Election Denial
A previously unreported boom in profits for the shipping supply giant Uline has provided the funds for a deeply conservative Midwestern family to bankroll anti-democracy causes around the country.

As usual, the Orioles Magic playlist lost a few over the offseason, but at least now the interface keeps the names of the songs so I can try to find the actual "Orioles Magic" song again -

The horrors persist, but so must small joys: dinner at Tapas Teatro followed by seeing "Ed Wood" at The Charles.

It is always refreshing to take in local artists work. Seeing Stillpointe Theatre's "Whitechapel" in The Club Car was quite the experience.

I've been saying for years the death of Google Reader was the beginning of the end of the Good Internet.
THE INTERNET WAS BETTER WITH RSS!!! i know it's still around but it's just not the same. now the expectation is you get all your notifs through an app or a million email lists. it's harder to see posts by people you follow AND systemically disincentivizes making/sharing longer posts off-platform
i don't want to hear your most boomer complaint. what's your most millennial complaint?

When putting away my favorite Christmas decoration, a large ceramic tree, I enjoy looking at the newspaper used to protect it. Today I realized it includes the Baltimore area movie times for October 7, 2001.

Have accidentally begun a holiday season Tour Dem Bars for warm beverages. Rocket to Venus's hot toddy was lovely. Also enjoyed Nepenthe's rum iteration of spiked cider.
