Id be suited if you could find time to either/or send me the most pertinent of your fab think pieces or a few bullet points. Promise not to mention source unless you want me to!

So either Labour need to ask candidates to step aside for the Greens to take on Reform....

Or actually bring in a fair democratic process where everyone's votes count equally.

It's time for Proportional Representation.

I am now very confident that Reform are a laughing stock. Without their constant fan boy media presence they would be nothing. Seems people are a lot more decent than I thought.
Vote Green and let’s have actual change as opposed to meaningless soundbites.

Help please.
Youngest expecting 2.2 min Biology degree. Thinking ref post grad teaching year. Starmer bragging last week about bursaries etc.
Anyone know exactly what he might get?

Go on humour me.
Things rarely taken up by our gallant journos.
-Farage Russian connections
-Farage housing arrangements
-People other than Mone who ripped us all off during COVID
-The blatant complicity between OfWAT and privatised water companies

Others?

I’m so enjoying the ‘share owning democracy’ that I was promised by Thatcher and all her like-minded decedents. Seems Starmer is a particular fan🤮

Why were the cabinet all clutching little union jacks during Starmer’s speech?

I used to be OK with the periodic ID card debate, but that was when I saw govt as generally benign But now they are a bunch of corrupt genocidal nut-jobs in the pay of the highest bidder and as trustworthy as my dog with a packet of biscuits; they can shove their ID card where the sun doesn’t shine

I started writing a list of well-considered reasons for raging against a Y8 reading test.
However I got to reason 5 and I was raging.
Why are politicians such total dicks? Who the hell advises them?

I’m pretty damn sick of Trump’s rantings being given exposure and credence by ‘our’ National Broadcaster.

See BBC web site has managed to bury Farage story
September 12, 2025 at 9:16 AM
Have I really just read Chris (Reform) Mason lamenting the fact that his hero wasn’t appointed US ambassador on BBC News front page.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to learn the real reason such a flawed, much sacked and disingenuous creep like Mandelson was appointed in the first place?

In other matters.
Mazzy Star were sublime.

BBC News.
‘Sirens blare from millions of phones…..’
No they didn’t.
I really think it’s time we binned BBC news and just keep the good bits like 6 Music.
The ‘journalists’ are seriously deranged as well as bent Farage fan boys

Violence zero
Threatening behaviour zero
Damage zero
Arrests 900+

Wonder what an extra-terrestrial observer would make of that?

Please can the Daily Telegraph have quick sneck at Farridge’s financial and housing affairs?
BBC?
Sky?
No though not.

A question for you clever literary types.
Struggling with early part of a long novel…..thinking it should go to charity shop , but also got feeling it just might be terrific.
I am forever looking at list of characters in front of book
Question.
If you need a list of characters should that be a clue🤔

Shout out for all those parents of four year olds who have to explain that starting school is a fourteen year sentence not just the one day😧
September 2, 2025 at 10:22 PM
Strange times indeed. We now have the most senior government ministers trying to outdo each other’s domestic flag count. One awaits the first appearance of Union flag ties, waistcoats, suits and who knows the quick flash of patriotic undergarments.
Truly pathetic.

Blair joins meeting to divvy up Middle East land grab proceeds.
In other news, there was never ever a plan to loot the Middle East.
Just really coincidental.

I mean are there really people who can’t see what we are up to here?

I have a question.
‘What are you going to do about it then?’

Listening to people in the pub. We have done Trump (the best ever), immigrants, (hunt them down) and Trans people (don’t shove it down my throat)
We are totally lost.
