My Dad (ultra conservative) hated Trump and thought he was a corrupt grifter businessman that just wanted power before 2016.
The 180 he did when Trump was the nominee in 2016 was stunning.

I worked for a Telecom during covid and we were informed that if we were stopped coming into the office to tell the authorities that we were essential and to speak to our lawyers.

When I was in college the bars would have very long lines for the women's bathrooms and no line for the men...
The women would just use the men's bathroom... Surprisingly everyone was an adult about it.

There are a lot of facts we don't like to talk about. For me though it's that sickle cell might be less genetic disease and more evolutionary adaptation to fight malaria.
That one pisses people off for some reason.
