Enthusiastically and frequently wrong about SaintsFC, FPL, general football and other things. Shall we leave the politics in the other place? Twitter refugee.
Many thanks to #SaintsFC for saving that performance for a game that I couldn't watch or even listen to.

Hopefully normal service won't be resumed against Leicester, or I'll start to think its personal.

Dear #FPL community, is there any way to get the @eng-premierleague.bsky.social app to work on an android phone? I can get my account on there, but the way it displays on my phone, I can barely see league tables, can'tmake transfers etc. It's useless now, but is there a fix?

Yay, back to back wins for @SaintsFC = great. But we've beaten two of the worst teams in the league. My guess is SR take this as a sign they can appoint the interim manager, which will be

a) popular with the senior players and

b) a disaster.

Take 8 points from the next 4 games and I'll back him.

@duttymoonshine.bsky.social have almost no presence on Bluesky, but I saw them tonight, andbI see a lot of bands, and no matter what kind of music you like, they are very good live. Go and see them, ASAP. You can thank me later.

Credit where its due - #SaintsFC win. Scienza, on a different level, the difference. Robinson took his goal well. Armstrong and Jander also decent.

But defence a shambles. Sometimes play it out well, but they cannot defend, and Gav looks a bag of nerves. And don't drop so deep! Keep one up?

Early days for Eckert's new look #SaintsFC. And if the new look he's going for is 'Plucky Conference Cup team play Championship side', then its going well.

So, Sports Republic and #SaintsFC have sacked Will Still. I really hope they can see the need right now for an experienced Championship Manager, who can tell them what the genuine state of the squad is, and what's needed to sort it out. Then set out a 3 year plan to do that. But who?
November 2, 2025 at 7:50 PM
Who has any confidence that Sports Republic will appoint a manager with solid Championship promotion and EPL survival experience. Or in fact anyone better qualified than Still? #SaintsFC in massive danger of being relegated back to back.

Spent today driving from Aberdeen to Oxford, listening to BBC5L, so #SaintsFC barely mentioned, and when we were it was predictably bad news, allowing me to concentrate on the driving. So that's one positive from today's standard poor performance. #Clutching

Terrific yarn in London Centric, as per:

The police don't take much interest in returning the stolen devices when they're dug up — so London Centric decided to do it.

OK, fair to assume Still's sacking is now when, not if.

But who will SR bring in to lead @SaintsFC next? Their top candidates apparently:

1. Nathan Jones. (Been gone too long?).
2. Harry Redknapp (Knows too much?).
3. Wayne Rooney (5th time lucky?)
4. Liz Truss. (Kept that lettuce out for ages).

Who remembers the good old days, when #SaintsFC had a really expensive squad but drew every week? Ah, happy times

It would be easy to be despondent, even angry at the whole situation at #SaintsFC rightnow. Owners, management team, players. Also, probably fair. #Omnishambles

Wish we could knock this 'Southampton carry a legacy of losing from last season' nonsense on the head. We got relegated because we had a team of Championship players in the EPL. We are now in the Championship. No excuses.

#SaintsFC Credit where its due. Shea Charles is way too good for this league, and Adam Armstrong is a prince in it. What a pass. What a finish.
