Enthusiastically and frequently wrong about SaintsFC, FPL, general football and other things. Shall we leave the politics in the other place? Twitter refugee.
And ideally a target man as a plan A (or B if Armstrong as false 9 becomes plan A).

To be fair, Scienza, Jander and Fellows all look like very decent acquisitions, with Scienza definitely the one to shine first and brightest. Hopefully Spors is now working on a keeper and at least one CB.

One of my mates messaged me at half-time, saying 'You must be confident of at least a point, here?'.😅

Could do that for sure. But we have a challenging run coming up. As I say, get reasonable success in those and yes, give him more time. Lose most or all, and SR should keep looking, with a view to appointment once the right manager comes available.

Not gonna deny that. Seems maybe some of the players are trying harder now. I'd like the club to sell any players who decided not to give 100% ASAP.

I wish. No, that win was the weird but exciting one where Austin was somehow on the pitch and scored the winner. (Against the run of play - what a surprise!)

But yes, winning a game, 2 goal lead etc. Weird times. I remain far from convinced, but winning does breed confidence. Imagine if we could do it twice!

Can't believe it! We lost that Arsenal game 0-2. But in my memory we won it 3-2. Ah well... I may be mixing it up with another game we saw together, at the start of King Ralph's rein, that we did win 3-2.

I took my then 10 year old to see Saints beat Arsenal the day before his final SATS test. (Diary mishap). He now supports Arsenal. To be honest, its hard to dispute his logic, though I reckon if you have no chance of relegation, your only getting half the ride.

Having suffered QPR v Saints (on TV at least)? I feel the need to recover, and protect my ailing heart. My blood pressure cannot stand too much shouting of 'Either come and get it or stay on your line', and 'stop hoofing it and run into all that green space'. Stranger Things is the show.

No, tempting though it is, am taking partner to her fave show in London. (Veey tough year for her, now, hopefully, coming to an end.) But my kids abandoned the cause. Though both do at least follow Oxford as well as their Disney teams.

What about the bellends that left Van der Venn AND Rodon on the bench by accident for a trivial 36 point drop? What about us? Are we valued too? (PS As an old tw*t, I can assure you, it will get better. Eventually. And perspective is everything.)

Of course it's the win that counts. We have arguably deserved many more that haven't come, so nice to get one that we probably didn't.

Occasionally they played it out well, true. But this group of players aren't able to do that reliably. We know how it ends, so just don't.

Interesting to see if anyone except Scienza and Robinson gains confidence from tonight. Owls should be 3 points, but not if we play like that.

Yep, agreed about the striker - shocking. But we've lacked confidence at the back all season. Gav's a very good keeper really, and other clubs would buy him, but the St Mary's crowd have lost confidence in him, and that feeds through. We needed to replace and failed.

And not being brave enough with the keeper.
