Yes, Fidel Castro, famous for saying that one of his greatest mistakes in life was ever criminalizing homosexuality, was of course, incredibly homophobic. Don't mind that while it was criminalized for a very brief period, was never prosecuted, and Fidel later oversaw its decriminalization, too.
