This is America, where we hand cuff women in a hospital bed because of a miscarriage

Are we great yet ⁉️

They were all made out to himself.
In the past year, Trump has promised...
-$5000 stimulus checks via "DOGE dividend"
-$2000 stimulus checks via "tariff dividend"
-$1000+ checks via "savings" from expiring ACA subsidies

So far, no checks have materialized.

I remember what the air was like in 1980. You couldn’t breathe in rush hour traffic and you couldn’t see on heavy smog days. Shoutout to the GOP for bringing that back - and all the cancer that came with it.

Total morons.

Under Trump's first year back in the White House, U.S. Farm bankruptcies rose 46% in 2025. The last time farm bankruptcies were this high was way back in 2020—when Trump was President.

Who woulda thought that a failed businessman and convicted fraudster who promotes tariffs could do this???

And President Trump says he’s proud of it? Really?!

There are psychologically broken people. The culture they stew in turns them rotten, and then their control of the state enables them to weaponize that lack of emotional and psychological well-being against the rest of us on a mass scale.

Everyone should call their local election officials and ask them what they're doing to prepare. Our governors should deploy the Guard to protect polling places from voting machine and ballot seizures.
Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) to ABC about Trump: "I think he intends to try to subvert the elections. He will do everything he can to suppress the vote. If he loses the vote -- I think the Republicans now expect they will get a drubbing in the midterms -- he will take action to overturn the result"

No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...

Can’t describe how predatory this is and if index providers carve out an exception for them or other large IPOs it’ll be a huge hit to their credibility IMO.

Most of the Washington Post’s tech reporters were laid off today, including me. I have loved my time at the paper, which is where I wanted to work from age 15. I take some consolation in not being among the survivors who will have to work harder with less for fewer readers. On to better things.
